My 80 year old teeth needed some work. Most of my life I paid a dentist out of pocket. But now on a Medicare Advantage plan I get DeltaCare USA, Medicare HMO. That means finding a primary care general dentist that takes the HMO insurance and is on the Delta provider list. Oh Boy! Yeah! That is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Delta has a long list of dentists on their website, many thousands. Within 60 miles of my zip code they have 4500 general dentists. Say What? Initially I found one that had good reviews, seasoned dentists, and a big office. I was not impressed from day one. And after two years with them and a big sell up where they were going to pull 4 healthy teeth and cap two more healthy teeth and install a bridge for $5,000.00 I decided I needed a consultation, a second opinion. That wasn't easy to get set up/coordinated. I finally got the second opinion and decided to take the conservative route and I had two root canals done by Dr. Aivaz, Endodontist in Long Beach who booked me the next day. One thing that was really annoying with the first general dentist was the problem of getting an appointment booked to take care of something without having to book quite far out. Anyway, my mind was made up in April this year that I would look for a new general dentist. And I'm so glad I did. I got an appointment with Dr. Wong the next day. His staff are so professional it is like I moved into a new realm of dentistry. His office is fully staffed and very professional at the front desk, the insurance coordinator, and the dental technicians. All with very lovely manners. The exam rooms are clean and the equipment is top notch. Dr. Wong listens intently and creates a treatment plan that is focused and thorough. I am so happy now with my new dental office. I'm sure my teeth will get the best care.

Absolutely loved the hospitality and kindness of the staff I was with, Dr. Wong and Emily were the best, they were extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable on everything that I needed and wanted to know and do. Would highly recommend them to everyone.

I took my toddlers to Dr. Wong and he was very patient, understanding, and caring towards my boys and their visit. I appreciated everyone we encountered. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a new Dentist.
